In-Person Technology Support
Located on the first floor of the Joseph Regenstein Library, support is only minutes away from the academic heart of campus. Having problems viewing documents in Canvas, connecting to the campus wireless network, or configuring a mobile device? We can help with almost any University technology resource — or get you to the right people. We’re equipped with a variety of resources to help you as quickly as possible. For critical emergencies (such as application outages or inability to access network resources), contact us at 773.702.5800.
We offer free equipment lending for students, instructors, and staff. We stock PC and Macintosh laptops, iPads, and multimedia equipment, including digital cameras. We also have an assortment of cables, as well as video and power adapters. Most equipment is available for eight hours, while power adapters are available for two hours.
The TechBar has space available to reserve for a convenient location to host a conference, class, or academic gathering. Facilities include a conference space that can accommodate up to 20 people and a private video conferencing suite that can host up to six people. To reserve a space, stop by the TechBar or email firstname.lastname@example.org for a reservation. At least one week’s notice is recommended to reserve the space. There is no cost for space reservations or video conferencing.
